Recently at Iyinfest, we organized a 3 days retreat and a Five-Year Mentorship Program for students who have just finished secondary school.
Every phase in life comes with its own set of challenges, and the post-secondary phase is no exception. Teenagers who have recently completed secondary school are confronted with numerous choices, decisions, pressures, and distractions. With a deep-seated desire to spread the gospel and nurture disciples across different age groups, the Lord has guided us to host a three-day retreat and a five-year mentorship program for these young individuals who have recently completed their SSCE Exams.
This is the first edition and we did not want to bite more than we can chew; twenty-three students who graduated from various schools in Isanlu were invited, and twenty of them graciously honored the invitation. It proved to be a wonderful time for all, filled with moments of worship, impactful word ministrations, prayers, teaching sessions, and interactive discussions.
We were fortunate to have seasoned speakers from both within and outside Nigeria, and we are grateful for the assistance of technology in making this possible.
